I am glad AFL is content with being a one trick pony.
You may as well stop caring about other markets after the AFL China match lol.. All that hype and only a few Aussies seemed to turn up.
when your one trick provides one of the world's best attendance records in a small country I dont think we mind.
Similarly, the yanks dont care that their most popular game has little to no international growth.
NFL is the name of the football organization.
The actual sport of GridIron is massive in Canada too. So that blows your argument out of the water.
Gridiron professional in TWO COUNTRIES that are bigger than Australia!!
IS ONLY AFL THAT IS A SINGLE NATION FOOTBALL CODE.
CANADIAN GRIDIRON
www.cfl.ca
I think you'll find American gridiron is different to candian gridiron. Including size of feild and numbers on team

Rugby league is the most watched sport in Australia - How can you be happy with second?
based on which figures? Yours?
Overseas and half of this nation near bust a gut laughing when we see your suped up version of forcee - backs with your points for missing posts

How can you be content. Or is this just something you fumblers tell yourself and others so it doesn't cut quiet so badly?
what you think doesnt change the fact Aussie Rules is Australia's number one sport

What are the figures re: comp v comp ? That is AFL home and away v nrl home and away ? I honestly do not know the answer but if the nrl win this then that's pretty impressive.
If we are talking about code v code do we include all of that code shown on tv ... which I think is fair but notice it does not include state comps. Good to see the women's AFL Como included. Also think the women's rl should be included too if we are talking about codes rather than the league (AFL, nrl, fta, whatever union is).

he also stated that the NRL released their total ratings last year and they were around the same as his figures for the AFL. If you're going off Wookie's comments why dont you believe him?

The Matildas game against Brazil is now officially sold out. Again something the AFL women's comp is not capable of.
Well done girls

W League going great thanks, many of those Matiladas have come up through it, so it is doing what it is designed for.
You might have heard Sam Kerr is tearing it up in the US at the moment during the W League off season. First women in the US competition to score 4 goals in a game.

How do you equate doing "far better" based on what metric?
Number of free tickets given away, yea I suppose that one you are way out in front.
Relevant home and away season based on a stand alone competition. Nah sorry you guys don't even register.
But thanks for trying.
So will the Womens league be giving away free tickets again, or will they make people actually buy them this year.
BTW The Matildas, you had to BUY those tickets LOL.
