Exactly right KE .
Because some fumbler can look good fumbling slightly less than other fumblers he's playing against the fans think they're supreme athletes .
Lol
Yet where is the evidence once they step out of the insular AFL bubble & compete against other athletes
.
We have provided ample evidence of NRL athletes showing these unco fumblers up
Where is the evidence of AFL athletes beating our NRL stars
Lol they can't beat the run of the mill average NRL player .

yes you're dead right there aflcrap.
I'd think the alfs best would also fail to beat NRL reserve graders in comps like rexona challenge, ninja warrior, boxing, wrestling, 100metre sprints, arm wrestling, squat max weight, bench press max weight, mma, vertical leap, and a raft of other athletic competitions.
To be fair though I do think the AFL lads would do better in long day stance trotting. I know, this is arguably one of the most boring athletic comps going but ato east it's something the AFL boys can be proud of.
You AFL lads proud of ur boys long distance trotting?

So the Brownpole is awarded to the BEST & Fairest from a season
So
Let's compare these two
AFL fumbler ..considered the BEST out of all ( whatever season he was awarded)
NRL player ..no awards .not even close ..Lo just a standard winger in RL .
AFL player only retired last season ..still should be in shape.
NRL player retired 3 yrs ago....
Jesus those facts make these fumblers look more useless .than usual .

You are totally wrong about Kayln Ponga. Bribane Lions list manager Peter Schwab quote "Lions believe Pongas potential to be an AFL player is limitless"
They wanted him as a rookie but understood his first love is Rugby League.
Courier Mail Sept 17 2016.
Essendon were more than interested in poaching Inglis. Their club boss Ian Robson flew in a day early for a secret meeting. Why have a secret meeting if you don't want Rugby League officials to know?
Hunt,.Folou? More of a case of 5 out of 7 when counting those two.
You can't deny it is only AFL that has offered NRL players contracts to switch codes. Never has Rugby League codes ever felt the need to look at the AFL for NRL talent.
1) Because AFL players are'nt built for Rugby League, not one has even been capable of making first grade.
2) There is so much talent in other nations like the Pacific Islands, UK and NZ to get players from.

Folau was still better than heaps of others playing in AFL feeder teams and he wasn't the worst AFL player running round the paddocks
He made the cut with a squillionth of the training.

Ke ... let's be serious . Hunt wasn't a bad player. He had some really good games. Falou was an abstract failure . Happy to give you hunt in making a fair fist of it but falou was awefuk and would struggle with the Boolarra twos . I know for shits and giggles it's fun to play up falou but between me and you we know the deal, but anyway ... carry on. Let's see the AFL mob jump on this one lol

Folau didn't struggle in the AFL feeder team comp. think he kicked bags of goals more than once. The feeble AFL players didn't know how to handle him.
This says a lot dear freddy

Not according to Kevin Sheady. Who described him as a player with enormous potential, and would like to get him back.

No Folau was statistically one of the worst players in the comp. he struggled to make the team in a wooden spoon winning side filled with kids

One of the worst

I agree tho many an AFL expert indicated he was an awesome talent. And the fact that he managed to fair better than some AFL drafted players without a skerrick of comparable training or experience more than proves my point here.
NRL players are generally far more athletically gifted and talented than AFL players.

anyone who has watched Sheedy over the years knows he talks up his players massively, especially players he sees athletic unrealised. That describes Falou, potentially a good player but with no stamina or ability to read the play. Unsurprising given he hadnt played as a junior. But to suggest Sheedy thinks he was a great player is absurd

Why does he want him to resign with a fumble club

Sheedy LOVES a pet project, finding a diamond from the rough. He's done it for years, right back to the 80's when he used to select niche players with minimal experience and turn them into good players. That's just him. There's no doubt Falou is a great athlete, but as an AFL player he is way way off being capable of succeeding at the elite level. With LOTS of work he could be handy for a team missing a key forward.

I think a large part is AFL pays a lot more. If they wanted buddy they would have to pay him several million.
