I think people are somewhat misinformed or just baiting if they think an AFL crowd are all white Anglo Australians.

Remembering Melbourne has a very strong multicultural makeup and that is definitely reflected in the crowds I have been too. Maybe it may be the case in Sydney where say swans may have garnered a niche market on the Chardonnay set of the upper middle class but where it is followed broadly such as in Melbourne the crowds do reflect that broader community make up. There is also a strong aboriginal presence of I think 10 to 12 percent whereas I think it is about 3 to 5 percent in the broader community. I am not saying that this isn't the case in the nrl and the AFL maybe better (I suspect there would be more international players given rl had a bigger presence overseas ... Or a presence) but to consider AFL a game only followed by white people or played by white people is just plainly wrong in my opinion.

Is a well known fact that no AFL club has a multicultural following like the bulldogs.
Too bad hey.
Really so well known by whom - RL people seriously you are making a big judgement call from no personal experience - and AF has been taken back to people's homeland that too is a really uneducated call. FFS you call me a zealot! You two soak up every little Tid bit of RL from HQ and regurgitate it like it were gospel!

So, that's only Blacheys blues you are showing, a small sample of the crowd all seated together. The guy who started it on his 18th bd party. Good for you.

I say clubs should be doing all they can to
get Overseas migrants coming to this country to learn the game.

too many do not bother, and stick to soccer.

Canterbury games is by far the most multi cultural club..

I would say St George and Parramatta are the next in line.
