Look up thr AFL leagues in sydney alone. Their is a national grassroots footprint. As i said, whether it is as good as soccer i do not particuarly care, but AFL also has the tv deal, exposure, crowds, revenue etc that soccer doesnt. Are you seriously trying to tell me that soccer is as big as aussie rules in australia. ? Or nrl for thst matter?
As far as player numbers it wins easily. Are a lot of women that play football (soccer) too. Obviously it is behind in the others in revenue.

You look up soccer player numbers compared to AFL. Wins in every single age group and demographic.

Oh, of course, your sport is the only one that allows you to shank a kick and still get a point for missing the big sticks, maybe you are right, maybe the AFL does need to introduce new posts across the field too huh, plenty of scoring then aye, no boring back and forth, nup, you can legitimately kick a goal sideways, just play fumbles ball.

World domination in no time, all they'll need to do is see it once and they'll be hooked for life, just like all of Australia already huh?
WTF have you been drinking that's a fair rant - my point is continually passing the ball without even attempting to score is boring - and I don't give a tinkers what the rest of the world does - only insecure people care or even need validation by their sport being played OS........wait that sounds familiar?
Maybe they are looking for holes in the defence so they can thread the ball through to a person in a better attacking position?

I have heard some sports, well all outside fumbles bumbles and stumbles, that they all use tactics :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

But i did mention severak other areas such as tv coverage, ratings, membership, crowds, tv rights ..... And participation numbers. AFL may not lead all of these but they are high across most levels. You may argue one point against another here and there but as a whole aussie rules dwarfs soccer in australia as a whole.

Yeah and I hear that paint drying has some great tactics - yawn - your just showing your ignorance there's more tactics in AF than RL - not much in the way of tactics get tackled 5 times kick the ball and repeat!
