Yeah we cheated all them years to win our wooden spoons, since they were not won legitimately, you can take them back. See cheating gets you no where.

LOL, I love it how all these other teams supporters are going off like it isn't nation wide in all the sports, yep fine my club strip them of their last two wooden spoons and whatever, but don't even try to suggest Parramatta were in anyway like the Dogs, Storm (two busted HA) the Broncos and Roosters along with a few others, they cheated and went more or less all the way for a few seasons with internationals and SOO players from the front fow to the back fucking office, my team supposedly done the same, yet we came last and had one decent rep player at the club the whole freaking time.

I reckon it's all BS and the money is going somewhere for some reason, but it wasn't to win a fucking premiership that's for sure, why would you buy a ball bearing cart to race at Bathurst when you can buy a new freaking works V8, it just doesn't add up where all this money went for supposedly wooden spoon players. Where are all these superstars the eels were supposedly signing on big money, the big name we had only was Hayne, and he's been gone for near two seasons now.

One big difference between AFL salary cap and NRL - AFL players have to submit tax returns, NRL rely on self reporting. Therein lies the problem!

Came in after Essendon were fined over 600k for salary cap breaches and there was a joint investigation with the ATO. Since then a lot of the rampant breaching has all but ceased.

Everyone that works has to fill in tax returns and let the big man know exactly what they are earning no matter what the profession.
