With RL now being compulsory at a lot of PNG schools for boys and girls, the numbers are only going to grow.

That's nation wide not just in Hunter - read the article - I know in my area women's footy has exploded with junior clubs (38 in my region) now having u14's and under 17's entirely plausible.

Registered clubs AFL leading by a long way too
