My guess with the level of professionalism for both sports it would be similar to one another - as the same goes for RU and soccer - where the AFL players would take the lead would be in the area of time trials which would be as you suggest the longer distances.
Billy Slater won the Rexona ironman challenge from representatives of all football codes within Australia- and what's more he did it very easily.

Sounds definitive, the AFL reps were a 19 year old kid and Cameron Ling who was a midfield tagged/plodder lol.

The real question is who smelt better after the events.
Joel Griffiths - Griffiths is an A-League soccer player, currently on loan to Chinese domestic football (soccer) side Beijing Guoan. He was 29 years old, 77 kilograms and 181 centimeters tall. The charity he supported is Ronald McDonald House.
Jamie Whincup - Whincup is one of Australia's leading V8 supercar drivers. He is considered an underdog due to the perception that he is involved in the least athletic sport.[citation needed] He was 25 years old, 78 kilograms and 178 centimeters tall. The charity he supported is the Surf Life Saving Foundation.
Steve Hooker - Hooker is a 2008 Beijing Olympic Games gold medalist in pole vaulting, the first male Australian track and field competitor to win gold since 1968. He was 26 years old, 85 kilograms and 188 centimeters tall.
Brett Deledio - Deledio plays in the AFL with the Richmond Tigers. Multi-skilled, Brett turned down a spot in the Victorian youth cricket team in his younger years to focus on Australian Rules Football. He was 21 years old, 87 kilograms and 189 centimeters tall. The charity he supported is the Marsh Foundation.
Lote Tuqiri - Tuquiri played for the Wallabies at the time of the show. Previously he had played for the Brisbane Broncos, making him the only contestant to play professionally in two football codes. He was 29 years old, 103 kilograms and 191 centimeters tall. The charity he supported is the RSPCA.
Ky Hurst - Hurst is one of Australia's greatest Ironmen. He is the only man to win seven Ironman titles. He was 27 years old, 87 kilograms and is 182 centimeters tall. The charity he supported is the Kids Help Line.
Billy Slater - Slater is a star of the NRL, playing with the Melbourne Storm, Queensland Maroons and Australia. He was 25 years of age, 87 kilograms and 179 centimeters tall. The charity he is supporting is the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Andrew Symonds - Symonds is one of Australia's more popular and controversial cricketers. Considered an all-rounder, Symonds was playing for both Australia's Test and One-Day teams. He was 33 years old, 94 kilograms and 187 centimeters tall. Symonds is also supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Um incest old chap .
Your first contestant that Billy exposed as an unco was Bert Dildo .

There is a thread at LU where the AFL crowd were claiming how dildo would smash every one .
Lol it was hilarious .
This ELITE Award winning supposed supreme athlete ..all Australian ...lol 4n20 sausage roller got smashed

This is the very same dildo that was proclaimed by the fumble media as matching it with Usain Bolt if he took up athletics.
Sadly that's the bubble that fumblers live in

Bert dildo got shown up & he was one of your best .
Poor old RUHIV never came Back to LU after that .
Classic thread

I'd rather fumble a hard fast leather ball from time to time then ummmm...where should I start... Drop a light rubber ball ball from a close pass....arse sniffing in tackles..... Dry humping for penalties... Headduck "scrums" oh and everyone waiting for ball to bounce from a high kick because too pussy to have a crack and put body on the line... Or maybe that's because they can't catch for shit. Lol Take your pick.

Their ball is Synthetic designed for high grip and to be water proof, and they still drop the fucking thing whilst under no pressure what so ever, and they call AFL "Fumbleball" lol.
Lol .
I wonder which sport was wearing these .

Less than 5% of players ware gloves, try again.
This.

A very small percentage.

AFL cracked down on the small amount of players who used one glove only on one hand. Famously Travis Cloke who is pictured on aflcrap1 photo.

Refer to this article

http://m.AFL.com.au/news/2013-01-23/no-love-for-gloves

And yes, going back to what myself and intentcity mentioned. RL balls are much much easier to handle, catch and kick. Waterproof, easy grip design and not heavy.

I Find it quite amusing how RL players still manage to drop the ball or knock on at close range, at many times no pressure on the catcher and it's gripable.

Quite embarrassing for so called "professional athletes"

And you call us fumblers lol

How the hell can you compare that to both sports? Have you seen the differences in both balls? Look at all the advantages in the RL ball we were talking about. So easy to handle.

Besides, there was a stage where only a small percentage of players wore one glove (mainly full forwards), which is slightly understandable given the balls challenging but interesting features.

your ball however is boring and simple
