Yeah exactly. Meanwhile over 28k in Sydney for the Swans on a Thursday night against a struggling interstate Port Adelaide. Puts things in perspective.

Yeah those NRL fans are a tight lot too lazy to get off the couch and would rather watch their handball for free!!!

Thursday night games started in 2012 for the NRL.

First game got 29,189 at Newcastle watching them play the Dragons.

35,952 the next season to see the roosters play souths.

25,068 parra against the dogs the next week

27,282 last year for south v roosters.

36,057 this year for brisbane playing souths.

There are a few other Thursday night games in the season further down and I couldn't be bothered looking for them seeing as these crowds I got were at the top of the page.

And what's your point Parra that RL is the major code in Sydney and that's it's heartland and you would expect them to get decent crowds in Sydney???? And that for a club that ALL RL posters continually infer have very little following in Sydney to get more on a Thursday night than the NRL got on Friday night is embarrassing for the NRL! Yes well I agree with everything you just said Parra!!!! :))) :_<> :_<> :_<>
