axeman. You'll speak to me in glowing terms or you won't speak to me at all.
Melbs. A city devoid of natural beauty. A city which is second or third choice for international acts. A city which, since 1957 cannot compete with sydney for things like the Olympic Games, so they got the crummy commonwealth games instead
It's just not that good a place guys so you really shouldn't try make it out any different.
Thanks.

Hahaha you've never been further south than Cambelltown have you figjam - so let's do a comparison shall we??
Melb
Centrally located sports facilities with transport nearby (MCG, Rod Laver Arena, Olympic park, Etihad Stadium, Aquatic centre etc etc etc - Yep crosses all those.
Beeches which are accessible to all - that don't have sewage outlets near them, that hold world class events (Bells beech classic) once again has all that!
Diverse population with plenty of cultural events - Chinnese NY, Greek Festival, Fringe festivals, St.Kilda Festival etc etc yep plenty of those.
World class events - Australian Open (one of only 4 grand slam events in the world), Boxing Day Test, F1 GP, MotoGP, AFL GF, Tour Down Under etc etc etc - yep that's covered,
World class eatery's and theater and entertainment.
Snow Fuelds, Mt Buller, Baw Baw, Hotham, Falls Creek etc etc etc - yep that's covered!
Victorian Wine Region - Brown Brothrrs Wangarratta, Wolf Blass etc etc etc
What ever Sydney we have and then some, we even have less rainfall than Sydney, our summers are just as hot with less humidity.
Best of all None of us live in huge commission estates many miles from the the beeches without work and without hope - Yep give me Melb any time!!! I guess that's why Sydney people are leaving as fast as they can!!!
