This is how much the AFL fear the Origin. On the AFL footy show the other night they talked up how good it will be & even Sam Newman & Shane Crawford both wore Origin jerseys. Would this happen if they feared it.

Could you imagine the NRL footy show wearing a swans jersey when they are in the Grand Final! it just wouldn't happen!! Phil Gould would even threaten to walk off like he did once before.

The nrl footy show boys have talked about the AFL heaps. One show they even had a go at learning how to play. Joey johns showed how easy he could slot goals from the sideline. The AFL boys watching were heaps impressed

Yeah the NRL footy show for years have had sports people from all other codes and whatnot on way before any thugby League player got a go on the AFL version, I seem to remember heaps of times swans players were on, so go and get stuffed with your lies.

Victorians will watch SOO because it's a significant sporting event at that sport's highest level, just like we watch the soccer WC or the olympic swimming. Seems that many in NSW and QLD do the same, they tune in for their annual fix of RL at the highest level in Australia. But when the regular NRL season is on they show little to no interest.

More likely channel 9 were trying to drum abit of interest for the Game.
