Since 2006 I'd say rl has only gotten bigger in the nt.

It's a close one folks and Daves right, playing numbers don't always mean much.

Having lived in the nt I can tell yas it's close. They do love their rl up there :)

Rubbish, Cental Australia, in particular Alice Springs and all the Aboriginal communities is AFL heartland. Same goes for Darwin. May I remind you all of the redevelopment at TIO Stadium for the AFL. What RL grounds are there in Darwin and Alice anyway. On the same scale as the AFL grounds? I think not.

The rugby league grounds are pretty good in Mparntwe, but not as good as the marngrook fields. But that's just because traditionally Mparntwe was AFL heartland and hence treager park was developed. Fact is there's as much interest in the nrl down the pub these days and as far as I can see this thread is about the top tiers of the codes not the bottom rung amateurs you turkeys keep bringing up.

It's changing up there wookie, why don't you get that?
