WITH some 20,000 tickets still available for State of Origin I, there have been calls for Sydney to lose the right to automatically host a game each year.
Queensland Rugby League chairman Peter Betros made the stunning claim with concerns rising that the crowd for next Wednesday’s series opener between NSW and Queensland will fall well short of the 80,000 capacity at ANZ Stadium.
Ticket prices have been suggested as one of the problems, but Blues legend Benny Elias believes the poor sales are because “fans aren’t happy with the way the game is going”.

RL fans everywhere complaining about the SOO ticket prices with their biggest game of the year struggling to get over 60k. So how expensive are these tickets? Well, around $280 at most, down to $50.

The AFL GF peaks at $399 down to $150 for restricted viewing http://www.AFL.com.au/tickets/finals/fi ... ket-prices

SOO LOL
