the actual figure for the game is
SUNDAY AFTERNOON NRL LIVE Network 9 469,000 312,000 0 157,000
GEM 54k (Mel 48k Ade 3k Per 3k)
the stuffed up the Sydney figure.
If you take a look at the AFL figure.
which is actualy 2 games
Sun TV #AFL Seven 441k (Mel 199k Ade 127k Per 115k) 7mate 49k (Syd 18k Bri 32k)
carlton v Lions
and
Port v west Coast.
The NRL killed it with just one Game.
even if you add in fox sports and the NRL add in the Regionals
Sun STV #AFL #FoxFooty/#FoxSports #AFLPowerEagles 190k #AFLBluesLions 137k
NRL looking at about 800k + one game
AFL two games = 760 Including two forms of coverage !!
and it included 4 states involved

Then onto TV ratings. But we're only shown on FTA or fox at one time. But the regionals. But we got more per hour. But NZ but but but

What could not face the fact that the NRL hammered the AFL with 1 game
ohh but Melbourne could watch through another form of coverage via FOX SPORTS
The NRL game was 15th v 3rd
and what you abit upset the storm outrated the Swans

That's Like saying.
if St George V Souths Was on Channel 9 In Sydney it would of rated a lot higher.
But no it was limited to Fox Sports where it rated 321K
If it was shown live in to QLD and NSW its hitting the 1 million Mark!

No FTA coverage for the Storm and still beats the swans who play on FTA in Sydney nearly every week. =D> =D>
So in Sydney its NRL/Cricket-->Aleague-->Rugby--AFL.....
Even aleague beats AFL ratings in Sydney.
Storm FTA NRL rates larger in Melbourne than the Swans FTA in Sydney for the AFL......all with a 15 year head start..

So the storm got 48k in Melbourne for their first FTA game. And this is good? :_<>
