Our game was on the same day, same time , the only difference was our game was played during near cyclone conditions , power out in 25% of the city and a 40min delay at the 30min mark due to lightning and torrential hail, our ratings were up ! Your game , like ours was played in an isolated timeslot.
(Look at at our increase in Melbourne - Wow)

My guess is the AFL's best game outside finals will struggle to clear 1.3m...

NRL Broadcast want even get close to that figure..
Game Started at 4pm.
4:30 game was postponed..
delayed for around 35mins at least.
so the figure will need to be adjusted.
and in fact, this delay in the game would of turned off many viewers..
there was also many black outs In Sydney.
I was at the Pub and Fox Sports blanket out. for about 60mins.
a delay in a game is bad ratings no matter how you see it.
But in saying even if no delay AFL's Game is Bigger.
UP UP ST GEORGE!

No Home and away NRL game will beat the AFLs ANZAC day game for crowd or TV ratings

The Anzac day figures for the NRL were slightly up on last year - unlike your ratings which seemed to be doing an impersonation of someone falling down a mine shaft.

Sure, I'll take the bet. No NRL game will outrate or outdraw the AFL's ANZAC day game between the Pies and Dons. What are we betting for?

Yep. The game is no longer played on its own, it's one of 4 games and many fans chose the evening games instead.

the fuck you talking about champ.
2014
Friday Afternoon, SFS, Round 7, 2014 - St George Illawarra v Sydney - 38,784 croiwd -
Syd 322, Melb 25, Bris 121, Perth 15 -
total 483 metro
+ 281 regional
2015
Saturday Afternoon, SFS, Round 8, 2015 - St George Illawarra v Sydney - 35,110 crowd -
Syd 285, Melb 10, Bris 165, Per 13 -
total 473. So down 10k.
Regionals didnt qualify, and the cutoff there was 232 - so down at least 50k there.
In total down a minimum of 60k on last year.
so the NRL's ANZAC day game didnt even reach 705k, while the AFL was 1.34 Mil
Thanks for coming
