Let's get things straight here folks. Xman was the most pissweak bum sniffing modbitch we ever had. He infamously supported beaussie to welch on a bet and while he tries to present as a poster of reason and intelligence he's completely stumped as to why an even comp is important and supports and expresses racist views similar to the dumbest minds this country has produced. He also made one of the most famous and demoralising modbitch exits of all times, and there's been some fukked up mod exits on this site

by putting up a poll (that was by the way heavily biased to AFL members) for members to show their support or not of his modding. The poor bastard lost the poll and stumbled out the door squealing "I didn't like the job and have better things to do anyway". It was one of the most ungracious dummy spitting head over Turkey amusing exits I've witnessed and I've been here since day dot folks

We all know that ,yet the fumblers are in denial .
But but but .
I am still waiting for a fumbler to show me the last time that a last placed side beat the top of the ladder team ( after about 4-5 RDs when it's clearer which teams are going ok & which are in the celler ,or in AFlols case ...THE BASKET CASE LEAGUE .)

Though however, even though I'm a league fan, I have noticed every year for a while now, that it is harder in AFL then NRL to make the top 8, year after year, I have noticed many times in the AFL you can have more wins then losses but still miss the 8, in NRL you can have more losses then wins and still be in the top 8. This has happened many times during the seasons and when the season has finished.
This also has happened even before the AFL had 18 clubs, so that isn't the reason.

Well the reason you can have more wins and still miss the 8 in AFL is because they have this magical league that no other sport can muster.
Its called the Basketcase league. The bottom 4-5 sides in the AFL rarely win.
So if i am a AFL club with 12 wins from 20 games i could still miss the 8 because the bottom 5 clubs (basketcase league) keep feeding the top of the table teams points......
So what you say is the direct result of a competition being so lobsided that you need to win 60%= of your games just to make it.

Basically 15 AFL teams are still in contention for the finals, and the odds show 4 sides are considered a strong chance for the GF. This is the most even AFL season in years.
And look at the Giants! 13k at their home game vs an interstate side, and they beat the Hawkes to go 4 wins and 2 losses. That crowd shames many NRL clubs

agree. The NRL need to stop it. Even you must concede the giants crowd was far bigger than we've ever seen before vs an interstate club. Their support is growing as they improve, which is exactly what we said would happen
