This thread ain't about some dweeb who can come on for 10seconds and kick a ball a long way. This thread ain't about how a team of athletes win a Super Bowl for some Aussie guy who doesn't contribute other than stepping back, having someone hold the ball, and, while under little or no pressure runs up and kicks the ball. That as we would all agree is utterly utterly utterly boring shit wookie. Utterly.
No this thread is about athleticism, about watching how athletes compete and physically match up against each other. It's bout recognition for that.
Don't tell me you think this thread is about coming on for 45seconds in a match wookie?

This thread is about athleticism wookie. It's not about whether hayne succeeds on the NFL fields or not, it's about which code AFL vs nrl produces the better athletes ffs. Jesus wookie, read the op again you deflecting wookie wookie

Ok fair enough wooks you are right with that post.
But generally I think NRL players are better suited to NFL as there are far more similarities.
Try and Touchdown area same.
Conversion kicks similar.
Tackling Style similar.
Field dimensions similar.
Goals virtually the same in dimensions.
Both codes are more weight training focused than AFL too.

Actually you are completely wrong. Canada has a professional Grid Iron league too.
So unlike AFL which is only has a league in one country. Even Gridiron is played profesionally other nations.

There are variants in the two codes but both sports are technically Grid Iron.
Actually USA and Canada used to play each other before the Standard of the NFL became too high for the CFL to compete with.

Change that to the financial standard - the CFL used to routinely take players from America until the massive NFL tv deals meant player salaries skyrocketed and the CFL could no longer compete.
But at the end of the day Grid Iron is played seriously in two countries while Aussie Rules is only played seriously in Australia.
What Canada play is definitely called Grid Iron.

Yeah I guess if you call expats playing AFL with it's few hundred followers in other nations then AFL is international.
Come on Wookie just admit it mate.. AFL or Aussie Rules has nothing in another country like Grid Iron has in Canada or Rugby League has in England.
There are no sponsored or televised competions for AFL outside Australia.
This clearly shows AFL does not have any serious support in another country.
So AFL being called a one nation code is totally accurate.

Let's just sum this down shall we , Jarred Hayne, aka Hayne train aka Hayne plane who ran rings around people in the NRL, has received a positive comment and you create a thread, with "lols they don't say that about AFL players" you're really try hard for anything aren't you. Desperate much. Hayne who was one of the fittest and fastest league player, would still struggle to match with B graders from american football.

Hayne is past his best, but at the end of the day I am certain most NRL players would do better in NFL than AFL players.
So many more similarities in Rugby League and Grid Iron than AFL has to Grid Iron.

It was over from the very first time I brought it up. There's simply no denying it. NRL players are faster, stronger, more powerful, more agile, bigger just overall more impressive athletes than AFL trotters.

Hehe they all know few AFL players have explosive speed off the mark that Hayne has. Are plenty of other players that have played NRL or still play that could do just as well as Hayne too.
Sonny Bill Williams, Roger Tuivasa-Shek, Greg Inglis (who AFL attempted to pinch with no success), Shaun Johnson etc..
Most AFL players are too long and gangly and more suited to distance running. They are just not built for high impact tackles in Grid Iron and Rugby League.
