I actually don't think it was the weather as Bulldogs and Rabbitoes had rain leading up to their game too.

Swans fans are mostly from small pockets of the inner city and don't like venturing to the West. Typical AFL pussies.

And there are very few people in Homebushes surrounding suburbs that give two shits about AFL.

Hence the very poor AFL crowd and to think they believe that they can convert Sydneys West to AFL with turnouts like that lol. :(/ :(/

Leading up to the game too??? It rainied during the game too. Actually greater western Sydney suburbs have much more interest in AFL then inner west suburbs like homebush.

Yes, most swans fans are from surrounding city suburbs. But even though only 24k turned up in non swans fan area against an interstate team on a shitty day, isn't that bad. Where as two western Sydney teams in a local derby in rugby league city of Sydney, parra vs west, clear skies before and during the game. and on a public holiday And loads of advertising on TV, radio and internet on days before only managed to get 10k higher and the ticket prices were reasonable, the AFL ticket prices a generally much more. So you should worry more about that I think.
