Should get a load of points if we win the tournament. As the host we didnt have to go through qualification and instead played friendly matches that are only worth a third of what a qualifier is worth

100th in the world, yet still draw the best crowds for an international team from this country. Simply the best baby
I mean aside from the Australian Cricket team right?

Boxing Day Test - Boxing Day - 70,000
Boxing Day Test - Day 2 - 51,000

But if you overlook that...sure your the kings of the summer.
And you forgot the 16,000 and 14,000 for the final two days

And you forget these cricket games are played when most people are working during the day time on weekdays.

Always an excuse.

How is it an excuse when they are facts, the cricket team does all this and more during working hours, your lot complain when they have to play on a Saturday night at either 5;30 or 7;30.

No but but buts here, just plain facts.

SRS?

Guess the socceroos have never played on a weekday.... :?>

A one day matches starts in the afternoon and finishes well into the evening. Running several times longer than a soccer match dummy

Wook now you're starting to sound like Dave

Yappin on about restructuring facts and moving the goalposts - this was about national teams. You don't have one in the AFL and the NRL version isnt even on the radar. Keep ya Carlton rubbish on the side and stick to the point at hand

The attendance's throughout the first month and a half for the cricket were terrible especially the 12k that turned up to the mcg no way you can cover any of that up. If we make the final that's 80k right there boom.
