it does translate through their fucking tv revenue, assessed by widely accepted internatioanl industry standards.

The off field revenue is fairly easily explained otherwise - and generally explained by having a less centrailised revenue than the AFL which collects a lot of revenue and distributes more back to the clubs.
so the AFL gives around 3 million per year extra to its clubs than the NRL does!

ok care to explain the union & a league system why they generate more nonbroadcast income that league?

If you mean the pokies, Raider Dave, AFL clubs are getting revenue from them as well ever since the Victorian government legalised them. The only areas the AFL is ahead of the NRL in revenue is match day takings. On the others they are pretty close. I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if more rugby league supporters are paying for Foxtel than AFL. Fox Sports treat the league fans better than Nine does.

no the AFL clubs are decades ahead of the NRL clubs in all areas of revenue streams , but are only playing catch up in the poke ownership, due to them being legal for a longer period in NSW.

AFL TV deal $1.253 billion.
NRL TV deal $1.025 billion.

I call that close. And the NRL closes the gap with buy rates on Foxtel.

The TV ratings overall are also close, although admittedly the NRL need State of Origin to prop that up. I blame Nine for that shortfall.
