that's awesome to see rivals fans in saudi supporting you guys. from the same point of view i cant understand why harper was so "everyone in australia should support wsw"

i dont see any benefit for myself personally. we don't get a trophy out of it, we don't get any prize money...all the glory goes to one club not anyone else. if people want to go the whole straya this straya that route well that's why we have the socceroos. i'll glady shake a wanderers fans had, cheer for country side by side with them at a socceroos game but at club level that goes out of the window

i feel like those saudi fans of al nassr and al ittihad in that...fuck that! i hate that club and i want my club to win it instead.

harper and cockerill's pro australia stance overrides rivalries and other yada and it doesn't rub off on me. they make so much money out of the whole sfc vs wsw thing yet they want us to cheer for you guys over there...can't do it and never will. i'll probably take a sicky on monday if you guys win

parramatta council has closed off Church street mall and have set up a fan site with giant screens, will be very interesting how many they get down there for the game tonight. 1000 wouldn't be bad but I can't see that happening.
Will the stupid c.hun.ts face away from the screen & bounce up & down? 8-[

Yep I'm guessing at the 80th minute the crowd will do the Poznan for 1 minute.

Do you know why they do it Dave? I know it is easy to knock something you don't understand, so I'm going to educate you.

The crowd do it at the 80th minute to pay respect to the first football game in NSW (qld claim their was an earlier one in qld) it was in 1880 and the game was played at what is now old kings oval (right next to parra stadium) between a team from kings school and a team that were given the name Wanderers. So to represent 1880 the crowd does it at the 80th minute minute if we are winning or losing doesn't matter it is something we do, home or away to remember where we come from.

So bag it out if you want but you know what we couldn't give a shite, we will keep doing it, but at least you now know why

Police said a number of men became involved in a fight after leaving the match between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory at Allianz Stadium about 10.15pm on Saturday.

A man, aged in his 20s, was stabbed in the torso and three other men were injured during the fight outside the Bat and Ball Hotel at the intersection of South Dowling and Cleveland Streets.

If you look into that story, it had nothing to do with football, it was some people coming back from the football that was stabbed by someone trying to rob them, it was a mugging

unlike the nrl, as long as an a-league fan doesn't get shot in the head for being a fan then i'll be happy
