RL in the UK gets over 400 million Aus dollars for its TV rights from Sky and the BBC over the next 3 years, it was only a decade a go the AFL received that much, and they own 4 states of this country.

It would be such a shame if we lost the Storm. We'd have to make do with the biggest sporting competition in the Country.Also the formula 1 grand Prix,F1 bike grand Prix,the biggest horse racing carnival in the world,one of tennis's grand slams,the biggest day of cricket in the world,the biggest soccer team in the country and the highest attended sporting event on the planet.Oh what we do if we could no longer enjoy the bum sniffing antics of the imported game from the slums of England.Well I suppose we can also placate ourselves with the best schools,hospitals,road,public transport,sporting infrastructure,restaurants and being universally known as the cultural centre of Australia.Yes how would we survive.
