So if we break down city by city for the first home games we get so far.
Sydney
Souths round 1 on a Thursday night 27,282
Sydney FC first home game Saturday night 25,525
WSW still to play
Melbourne
Melbourne Storm Saturday night first home game got 13,952
Melbourne Victory first home game Friday night 30,083
Melbourne cityheart yet to play
Any other places where both codes are represented? (warriors vs that kiwi soccer side can be put together representing the land of the long white cloud)

49k for CCM/NJ - not good enough
118k for SFC/MC - fantastic
bit late but 95k for wsw vs fc seoul last week - great
91k needed for this round from last 2 games to reach 660k target gallop set for this round

for our sport it's brilliant and presents a huge growth from last season and the year before that
oh i can't wait, 6 weeks of 'pain' (4 weeks actually)
trust, my body is ready
what i do think is good is our opening rd attendance average smashing the nrl's opening rd

not bad for #3

Haha I know, that's why I thought I'd post it.
I'll do the same when Perth hosts a match too.

Ummm, they are not very good all round seeing as each game so far has had fresh air with nothing up against them at any stage so far, even Bathurst is during the day time.

Are you for fucking real?
The NRL kicked off on a wet Thursday night this year just as they have for the last 3 years, they ended this seasons rounds by hosting a Thursday night game for the last 6 weeks of the comp.
Have no idea why I bother actually, you lot don't even bother to try and make a decent argument, I swear if anyone in RL said the sky was blue, you lot would start a thread saying it was pink.

The rah play in brissie today
The broncos got 43421 to their opening game this year
& the wellington ... errr

.. what eva the fuck they're called

.. play today as well
The warriors got 14000 in a cyclone against the dragons at eden park in their opening game
They would of got 25000 in fine weather

well that's not entirely true, depending on the time of day the sky can vary from very light sky blue to dark blue/borderline black. looks like i smashed you again mcnoob!
stop trying to spin and deflect. avgs of opening rd vs opening rd is what we're talking about here and there looks like there will be only 1 winner, don't get so uptight about it, you can't win all the time and it isn't a guaranteed win yet anyway, the roar could have a shocker and only pull 9k but it looks like they'll be getting 20k+
on some more good news for the a-league, adelaide united have already sold 20k for their opening game vs the victory for next week, 40k for the sydney derby and hopefully a bumper crowd for the heart for villa's home debut....should be another barnstorming week on the crowd front for us :D

welly vs perth starting in 15 min, my prediction is 10k crowd and tv similar or less than ccm/new
roar vs adelaide starting straight after, crowd prediction 18k and tv somewhere around 60-70k
