better membership

real figures have been posted before parra. Below figures are taken direct from the respective annual reports, and listed exactly as they are shown.
While the tv deals are near identical, the NRL generates 90 million from non broadcast revenue, for the AFL that figure is over 200 million. Given that 90 million for the NRL included Origin (19.4 million), the $10 million they get for the Grand Final and 4.8 million in finals series tickets, it leaves the NRL less than 60 million to make from sponsorship, merchandise, corporate hospitality and other such.
AFL Commercial Operations generated 168 million on its own. The NRLs sponsorship came to 25 million.

Doubling of SOO ticket Prices and still sold out all 3 games.
Finals crowds up 16% for 2014.
Four Nations also at end of year.
The NRL made 50million last year alone
The NRL would be tracking for a profit of over 65million in 2014 alone..................NRL is in rude health financially.
