They didn't "struggle to play AFL" at all ya dipshit. Do you think anyone who makes it to the AFL "struggles to play AFL"? They struggled to compete at that level every week but they were in fact better than others who made the AFL :_<> . This, my uneducated gimp, is what tells us all we need to know ;)

At the level below the AFL Izzy actually kicked arse :_<> :(/ :_<> They couldn't handle his athleticism

I'd love to see ANY AFL player have a go at presidents cup RL  <>'
According to Champion Data player ranking points, first published by News Limited at the end of the Giants season, Folau's first season in the AFL graded him the 415th player out of the 416 to have played 10 or more games.

Only 22-year-old Richmond small utility Addam Maric finished the home and away season with a lower Champion Data ranking points average in 2012 -

Maric has also had fewer opportunities than Folau, having been subbed out of the game seven times in 2012 and spending just 46 per cent of time on the field compared with Folau's 80 per cent.

It is easy to make a case that Folau's average of six possessions and 0.1 goals per game makes him the worst player in the AFL this year.

As a marketing and promotional tool, the 23-year-old former rugby league superstar's code conversion was a success, but on the field he struggled to adapt.
It was never more more obvious than during the Giants' final season games against Gold Coast Suns and Melbourne Demons where his haul of four possessions prompted calls for him to return to rugby league.

hunt and folau struggled to get a game, even when they did get a game and both struggled. it was a perfect opportunityv for them to show off seasoned bigger bodies, in a team filled with kids.

did they manage to get regular games in those sides NO  :)))
they both failed :)))
izzy and hunt both got their arses kicked :thumbleft:
:_<> according to "champion data" a nrl player with zero, that's right zilch, nada, nought , 0, playing experience was better than a bloke who'd played marngrook all his life, been lauded as the best at local, representative level, from juniors thru to seniors!!!!!!!!!!!!! All his fukkin life!! And izzy rocks up from rl and says, .... .... " how's go and get fucked sound? I'm an nrl player?" :_<> :_<> :(/ :_<> :_<>

They both made it to the pinnacle, the AFL, with no training and a completely different skill set developed over their entire youth.

Nrl players who've made the AFL = 2 and their could be a whole lot more if they bothered

AFL players who've made the nrl = 0 and their never will be because they're a bunch of talentless gimps compared to nrl players

Well prior to NRL an AFL player Bennett played for the Western Reds - and if the NRL have the balls to put a team in Perth or Adelaide they may go down that path - certainly an AFL player would bring a new professional attitude to the NRL

the bumsniffers where picked up as marketing gimmicks, which failed. its not like they performed were picked up in a draft.
and going by hunts & folau efforts, they wouldn't have even been picked in a draft :)))

why would an AFL player want to play league over AFL, less money, empty stadiums & get laughed at by his mates

The Reds even recruited local identity and decorated WAFL and West Coast Eagles (AFL) player Adrian Barich. Barich, having grown up in Canberra reverted from Australian rules football to rugby league, finishing his career with seasons with the Reds, however he never played in first grade. [2].
From Wikipedia but still accurate - Brian Barich not Bennett

Australian rules football
Perth Football Club
Barich played Australian rules as a midfielder, halfback flanker and winger. After moving to Perth in 1984 and signing with the Perth Football Club he went on to play 160 games for the club and earn life membership. He also captained the side for two seasons.

West Coast Eagles
Barich was an inaugural member of the West Coast Eagles and played in their historic first game in 1987. In his 47 games, Barich proved to be a robust midfielder. His place in West Coast Eagles history was forged more for his off-field role in the 1992 premiership. After missing selection in the team, he and Phil Scott, another inaugural player, penned a moving letter to those players selected to represent the club, letting their teammates know how much victory would mean to those who could not play and what it meant to those players who had been involved from club infancy.

Representative football
Barich played AFL State of Origin football for New South Wales as well as representing Western Australia three times, captaining them in 1993.

Rugby league
In 1995 he joined Western Australia's newly formed Australian Rugby League club, the Western Reds and played for two seasons. However, he only played one first grade trial game and did not make a first grade appearance.[2] Barich also played for North Beach in the WARL.

So I guess that's AF - 1 RL - 2

Fumblers are not suited for sports where coordination ,athletic ability & not being interchanged 150 times are part of the game

tell me then spazza why did folau and hunt fail so badly :)))
so slow, to unskilled, to unifit & to stupid to understand the game
on the top of their game in the NRL, & recruited for a marketing gimmick, couldn't make the side in a couple of wooden spoon winning sides, but somehow the NRL athletes are more supreme :-k
