the packers & murdoch took the game and tried to make it a national game but failed, all of the commercial print, tv and radio coverage that the game received because of this private ownership, something the AFL never had, & look what it became its non media revenue is more than triple than the NRL.
NRL the clubs live off tax payer hand outs & its leagues club for survival. mean while the commission couldn't receive a decent business bank loan as it had no money or worth to what the banks!
