Well done fellas we need more like this.
it sure is a great thread
the NRL produce a document that over 2 million people play league in Australia :^o

the Australian bureau of statistics release a bunch of stats and
and one of Australia leading interdependent researchers release some statistics as well
that both show similar numbers that show that NRL figures are a heap of shit.

the NRL continue to fudge numbers

It's everywhere champ. Hundreds of schools play it as mandatory pe, just like austag, so that kinda jacks up our participation by over a mil ;) it's so cool adding school pe students as 'participants' like the AFL have done for years. Puts us on top too :D

difference is the AFL has crowds, sponsorship revenue, to back it up. the NRL does not
the NRL has this claim that 2 million people play its game yet research from the ABS and Morgan research days differently :)))
figure that one out
the NRL stats are just made up shit, so flogs like you can beat their chest over

This is bout participation adumb. Or should I bring up our mammoth tv audiences? Rl is lovely to watch on the box, so structured that the camera work is easy to get perfect. The AFL on the other hand is a mess on tv ;)

Participation rates, rl wins :D
