he has a point
what is there to do in canberra besides going to the war memorial and taking a few selfies infront of parliament house? no beaches, no women, nothing to do at night, no fun things to do in general
why do you think no nrl player was to transfer to the raiders? place is empty, nothing goes on there - ever, nrl clubs with no fans etc. you cant throw money at anyone either because we know you dont have any of that

Parra stadium was sold out earlier in the season.
The eels average will drop next week when they play a home game in Darwin followed up with a game against the dogs at anz which will raise it again. Need to sort out the stadiums for once and all.
The game against Canberra can get a crowd at Parra from anywhere from 12k up, I'm sure if this game was played at Parra this week, it would've been a sell out too as the fans wanted to give Ricky Stuart a piece of their mind, but that can't happen now unless each and every parra fan jumps on a plane and heads to the Northern bloody Territory

What's the expected crowd in Darwin - Melbourne got almost 10k

Dunno but last game in Darwin outdrew the AFL game up there.

It's a real clear indicator of level of support. Sure people like to get out to the swans each week, sip some Chardonnay and chat about their day but when it comes to real interest level you gotta pack stadiums out. The swannies can't pack out the big stadium in sydney. There's just not enough support their for them, nor the game of marngrook in syd. And the tv audiences show it!
Sorry folks, it's just a fact. More support for rl in sydney, about twenty fold more support, and that'd be conservative

Not really KE - just like last weekend the NRL got 82k to all it's games - there's your SOO crowd right there - so packing out a stadium isn't really indicative of TRUE support as SOO draws it's support from 9 clubs in Sydney alone so when you get 83k at ANZ it equates to 9k per club - yet Swans average crowd is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than ANY NRL club in Sydney - which shows true support - these are facts that can't be avoided KE!!

Wow, that was one helluva slimy stenchy shit you just dribbled all thru ur last post there swines. Thanks but please, think that shit in private rather than posting it over our boards. True support is the total support in the city. Add swans to gws and ur cwowds dwop markedly.

add tv audiences and it's plain to see why marngrook can't fill the big stadium in sydney. Clear for all and sundry.
Now go and wash ur hands swines. It's bloody disgusting what u smothered there above

:-+

The swans are a good chance to host a prelim final this year in sydney. It's the biggest AFL match possible in sydney (I know it is a yawning gap the AFL has no rep games whatsoever). You guys reckon it could sell out/fill anz stadium?

Hmmm yes I suspected as such. Folks we marngrook supporters should just admit it. The code can't fill Sydney's biggest stadium and this will probablybe the case until well after the day we and all our respective kids and grand kids die. Sad but true
