You know what might be fun, seeing which is higher rated in Melbourne - NRL matches or VFL matches (and I dont mean the AFL, I mean the state league).

Do the voices in your head count as the
"WORD ON THE STREET"?????????????.
& isn't it funny that in AFL Land a sellout is astadium not anywhere near full .
Yet when there is 2 K tickets left for SOO 2 days before the game it is NOT A SELLOUT.
RL is in trouble.
I mean seriously what fucking planet do these twits live on??.

God you guys are fuckwits...obviously the swans success have got you worried.
Imagine if the club team you followed could pull 37k to a home game on a Thursday against an interstate team...don't bother imagining it will never happen.

46k on 7mate in Sydney. It's a good thing you went flaccid on your convictions Para.
But back on topic, I wonder if the 37k strong crowd will be the biggest in Sydney this weekend?
It's certainly hte biggest Thursday night football crowd for the year in the rugby league heartland.

A good thing?
Listen flip, I said the crowd would be smaller than a swans sell out at the same time and I was right even though your precious swans didn't sell out which was another lie.
46k on TV on a Thursday night, who the fuck would be worried about that you ****?
Plus, 46k is still lower than 50k, derp!

just did the sums. Thats a whopping 1.5% of sydneyites tuned into the game

I was at the game and met a group of americans visiting the country from the rotary association. Beaussie met some visiting hungarians who went to the game. So really, its prob more like <1.2%.
Now this was, as dave correctly puts it, a bwockbuster matchup with top four spots on the line, yet only one person in 100 in sydney bothered to watch it. Compare this to SOO in melbs and you got something like 1 in 8 people tuning in and salivating to the great game of RL. I really thought marngrook was slowly becoming more popular in sydney but i think i was wrong. This evidence is far too compelling.

love how you bumsniffers can only resort back to ratings
when you look at the pathetic crowds, membership levels & revenue the clubs and NRL earn, its laughable
