these are the facts

just did the sums. Thats a whopping 1.5% of sydneyites tuned into the game I was at the game and met a group of americans visiting the country from the rotary association. Beaussie met some visiting hungarians who went to the game. So really, its prob more like <1.2%.

Now this was, as dave correctly puts it, a bwockbuster matchup with top four spots on the line, yet only one person in 100 in sydney bothered to watch it. Compare this to SOO in melbs and you got something like 1 in 8 people tuning in and salivating to the great game of RL. I really thought marngrook was slowly becoming more popular in sydney but i think i was wrong. This evidence is far too compelling.

Looks like the opinions of how well Fumbleball is going in Syd are going backwards as fast as the crowds.
