If you want to talk about the draft and restraint of trade then you have to have at least the minimum understanding that a contract is NOT itself restraint of trade.
Hopefully you are old enough to grasp this fact crackpot.

I see. You believe that Buddy Franklin can go back to Hawthorn or play for any other club whenever he wants whilst he is under contract with Sydney.

Congratulations.

You're running away from the subject now. I blew your argument apart and you are unable to cope with that fact.

I'm sorry you have no basic logic skills. I'd love a proper debate.
But you don't seem to be able to comprehend the most basic of logic.

I comprehend fine. You refuse to answer the question. Last chance.

Sorry but if you cannot comprehend the simple logic behind my answer then you shouldn't be here.
I cannot make it any simpler for you. Sorry.

You don't understand the issue here either. I'm done on this thread. You are not capable of holding a debate.

Come back when you understand that a contract in itself is a restraint of trade.

Players are NOT free to play in leagues outside the AFL. I don't know where you got that idea from, Cos789. Second string teams in the VFL do not count incidentally because they are still playing in effect for their AFL club. No listed AFL player can play in Albury for example at a whim.
Players play for leagues outside of the the AFL ALL THE TIME. All the time.

The fact you can only play in one league at a time only re-inforces my point.
Cos, that didn't help because you left yourself wide open for attack. Crack-it-up killed you on semantics.

What you should have done was shown him the games Jason Akermanis has played since finishing his AFL career, as well as other examples of AFL players doing the same thing. That would have shut him up better.
