Not on the scoreboard, but in the bank balance.
This is the reality for many NRL clubs where it doesn’t matter how much you fill a stadium, you’re only putting money in someone else’s pocket.
For the Titans, Broncos and Cowboys the pockets that fill the most are usually Stadiums Queensland, Ticketek and venue caterers.
For every ticket issued to a fan or club member, most never reaches the football club because of enormous overheads such as the “free train travel” which is a cost clubs must pay regardless of how many people board a rattler.
To win back crowds the Titans have offered children free entry to every home game this season with a paying adult into the eastern grandstand.

And of course both of you ignore the fact that Melbourne were very much aware of the threat of dropping crowds due to it's recent issues. Every club has local issues that sometimes require free tickets. The Demons. The Titans. The Swans as I indicated.

The cheap tickets for Melbourne families only applies to those living in Casey. This is where the club are attempting to set up new facilities. This is not comparable to other free offers we've seen

You have serious comprehension issues.

I Only posted that to show once again the hypocritical posts of Adumb..
He makes claims that it is only the NRL that does this or that.
I post evidence that the exact thing happens in his code ,& you post some shit saying I ignore Melbournes problems..

I have not made any claim that the Titans don't give away tickets or only the AFL do .

All I did was highlight the rampant delusion & lies of a fumblefan.

And I am telling you that it requires balance, and that is the view I was presenting. Your bias only attracts venom.

the city of casey is a shire, in the very far eastern suburbs of Melbourne home to where the demons have their training base.
its not like they are handing out free tickets to the whole of a city like the titans did on the Gold Coast. and they still only got 4k fudged 12k :(/ :(/

Does not matter one bit what it is .
The claim was made that RL gave away tickets & AFL didn't..
I just showed that was a lie.

Technically that may be so, but I think the NRL are far more generous with incentives in their own heartland just to get fans to games. Free public transport, bring a mate for free, free tickets for kids. These incentives are all mentioned frequently on the crowds thread on LU. Other than this initiative by Melbourne to engage a new region I can't think of any such incentives in the AFLs heartland.
