oh contraire cockhead

the present situation is a simple case of Australia not being able to compete with Asian markets where manufacturing is concerned
Australian built cars are too expensive to make & therefore to buy

too many greedy over paid bludgers in the Sthn states have forced Holden ... & Ford .... out of our country
that's the situation [-( [-( [-( [-( [-( [-( [-( [-(

What the label says is made in Australia. Kraft is an American Co.

Kraft Foods Group Inc. (NASDAQ: KRFT) is an American grocery manufacturing and processing conglomerate[4] headquartered in the Chicago suburb of Northfield, Illinois.[5]
The company was formed in 2012 by a demerger from Kraft Foods Inc., which in turn was renamed Mondelēz International. The new Kraft Foods Group is a North American grocery business, while Mondelēz is a multinational snack and confectionary company. Kraft Foods Group is an independent public company; it is listed on the NASDAQ.

& these thousands paying income tax .... & spending their wages in their local economy keeping thousands of others employed

I mean

Yeah I know how an economy works, Dave. Don't think. You'll burst something. Seriously, if Holden was Australian they wouldn't be fricking shutting down!! They would provide even MORE jobs than they ever did! Who's jobs are going? Not the execs, and where are they? Are they paying Australian income tax? Do me and everyone else a favour and stop making a goose of yourself thinking you know these things when you don't.

vegemite owned by an american company, hence it is not aussie.

holden cars and vegemite are both made in oz and both owned by overseas companies.

yes holden is leaving oz in like 2016 or something, but its as aussie as vegemite till then.

" if Holden was Australian they wouldn't be fricking shutting down!!"

that is ****** logic only you could think of.

why does being aussie prevent them from realizing labour costs are high here and deciding to move elsewhere? theyre a business not a charity.

it's literally high school economics, australia doesnt have a comparative advantage in cars, so we shouldnt make em. especially not if high subsidies are required.
