Dave, why is it that the NRL players get more publicity? Because it's the nature of that pathetic game they play! King hits in AFL have been wiped out as they should be, but there have been NONE off the field - unlike the NRL.

So just to show him how wrong he is YET AGAIN here are some facts,

I will list a few...of the incidents they get up to in between Setting Dwarfs on fire,& Doing restaraunt scams.

Rugby league star Blake Ferguson has been found guilty of groping a young woman at a Cronulla nightspot.
Ferguson indecently assaulted the 24-year-old by touching her vagina at 2230 Bar and Restaurant in Cronulla on June 16, a magistrate has found.

Bulldogs player Reni Maitua has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a taxi driver in Kings Cross last November with his lawyer asking for the case to be dealt with under the Menatl Health Act.
The 31-year-old who was suspended by the NRL club has been reinstated since admitting he hit rock bottom. See below.
Outside court, lawyer Danny Eid said Maitua's mental health was "not too good".

UPDATE: The NRL has now banned Robert Lui from competing in the league for an entire season. This is an incredibly important step and a powerful precedent that sends a strong message that the league will not accept violence against women and will crack down on those found guilty of perpetrating that.

. Todd Carney and Anthony Watts party antics- Throughout his playing career, Carney has been followed by scandals. He was sacked from the Canberra Raiders for numerous offences, including drink driving, vandalism, and urinating on a man in the bathroom of a pub. He seemed to have turned things around in 2010 when he received the Dally M Player of the year, having moved to the Roosters, but found himself on the wrong side of the law again when he was caught drink driving just months later, and was implicated in the assault of a female at a party with fellow rooster Anthony Watts. Watts was found guilty of the assault, while Carney was released without charge.
Greg Bird glasses his girlfriend- In 2009, Cronulla Sharks player Greg Bird was sentenced to a maximum of 16 months jail when he was found guilty of glassing his then girlfriend, an incident that occurred in 2008. The sentence was overturned on appeal when it was later ruled that Milligan was agitated and tried to attack Bird and the glassing was an accident resulting from the scuffle. The incident cost Bird his contract at Cronulla, and gave the club and codes much unwanted attention after what has been a successful 2008 season.

A WILD on-field brawl, mindless vandalism, even an alcohol-fuelled sexual assault – rugby league has again been thrust into a PR hell of its own making.
As the NRL faces a fresh round of horror headlines this week, local league figures have urged the governing body to take a zero-tolerance approach in a bid to salvage the sport’s reputation.
This week alone, Blues star Blake Ferguson has been charged with indecent assault after a drunken night on the town, while Souths youngster George Burgess was charged with malicious damage after spearing a street sign through a car window.
Yenda Blueheelers secretary Sam Panarello was so disgusted by the violence in State of Origin 1, he wrote to NRL CEO David Smith in protest.

IT came "like lightning"- one killer punch, allegedly thrown by ex-NRL star Craig Field, that still haunts a female onlooker to this day.
"I saw one quick left hook ... I saw a man go down and he never got up again" was how Marie Hamilton described the fatal hit on a cattle farmer in the carpark of a NSW pub.
On the opening day of Field's committal hearing in Lismore Local Court on a charge of murder yesterday, Ms Hamilton said: "Every day in my head, I see the same picture and it's not pretty."

Player dodges jail for king hit
WHEN an on-field brawl erupted during an A-grade rugby league match, a player ran up to an opposing team member and king-hit him.
The victim fell to the ground with a broken jaw and the player who hit him, Sueni Kilifi Falekakala, was charged with the criminal offence, grievous bodily harm - something Ipswich District Court heard was "most unusual".
The Crown's case against Falekakala, 21, was the assault was unprovoked, and the victim wasn't even involved in the brawl.

Dear John Grant,

I love watching rugby league. I always have. But I cannot stand the way the game treats women.

The only thing more shameful than the Bulldogs players who vilified female reporter Jayne Azzopardi at their Mad Monday celebrations with colourful epithets like, “Suck me off you dumb dog”, was the weak response by the game’s administrators. First, Bulldogs CEO Todd Greenberg issued a report claiming that the abuse was “not directed” at Ms Azzopardi and so there was no need to either name or personally punish the players responsible. While the rest of us sat back and said, “Oh yeah, that seems a logical response to a plausible explanation…” the ARLC missed the sarcasm and endorsed the Bulldogs report and actions as perfectly reasonable.

Mr Grant, you clearly lack the ideas and/or conviction to bring rugby league into the 21st century in terms of its attitudes towards women. Allow me to give you a few pointers.

Firstly, take more responsibility for controlling player behaviour. Clubs hate having to reprimand their players, particularly good ones, because that increases the chance that they will play badly or leave for elsewhere. That is why you need to hold your own investigations into incidents like the Bulldogs’ Mad Monday celebrations, or, if you insist on letting clubs handle it, you must be willing to punish players yourself.

On the subject of punishment, please lay down the law like you care. It is pitiful that Robert Lui was only banned for a year after being convicted of assaulting his (then pregnant) girlfriend by headbutting her and kicking her in the temple. Players who assault or sexually assault women should be given life bans. If you think that is too harsh, then at least ban them from representative football for life. It is insane that men who have been convicted of bashing and/or raping women are allowed to be the face of the NRL by playing in State of Origin or for the national team, the Kangaroos.

If nothing else, please break up the boys club and bring more women into the fold. Whilst I am not expecting you to be progressive enough to appoint a female to the vacant CEO role (though Basketball Australia recently handed former premier Kristina Keneally that position in their organisation), increasing the number of women on boards and in commentary boxes would be a great start.

I love watching rugby league. I always have. I believe that nothing could stop me from watching it. Please do not prove me wrong.

Kind regards,

NRL fans who believe in equality.

So any time you want a NRL V AFL player bad behaviour debate I am more than willing.

You can bet its only a perception.(maybe something to do with Vlad doing deals with the VIC Police to keep things hush hush ,& the fact that most of the Vic media are very compliant .
In 2011 WIKI had a list of the yrs indiscretions for AFL & NRL .
AFL was outstripping the NRL by 4-1
They ended up with 84-12.
Then it was removed...
Like I said anytime any AFL fan wants a behaviour thread debate ...I will gladly open their eyes .
I notice Adam was using any RL players (NOT NRL),& retired players .

My list was just from this yr & Current players.

So come on Fumblers step up & start a behaviour thread .
I will enjoy once again making you look dumber than you already are.

You have NFI what a king hit is so your perception of anything is worth a cupfull of cold cow piss.

& as I said .the NRL didn't have an agreement with the cops to keep things hush hush, like Vlad did.

So step up & have a debate(WIth sources,& not the imaginary ones in your head).
Come on Fumblers who's got some balls,& willing to have their eyes opened to the real behaviour of sports people ,not just NRL players ,as the head in the sand Fumblers like to believe
