ratings are useless? 1.3 billion begs to differ.

rep footy, yea only cause SOO is played mid season which comes back to the management aspect

better product. haha honest to god ive watched so many AFL highlights and there's nothing except endurance and some decent marks. what is there in AFL, pass run kick and catch.

what is there in nrl? flick pass, offload, linebreak, kicks, cutouts, drop goals, grubbers, forced line dropouts, and acts of brilliance that shit all over anything AFL has to offer.
there is no skill in League, run forward, throwball sideways, jump om ball on ground for try.

Ratings have nothing to do with the 1.025 billion (get it right)

SOO affects the clubs no matter when it's played during the season and has nothing to do with management.

Flick pass, offload, random kicks into the air, grubbers - anyone can do those. Can anyone kick directly to chest, handpass, run fact and bounce the footy without losing it, leap high without being pushed up (a la union)....hey can any league players do a drop goal from the boundary line? Nope, but AFL players can kick goals from there!

Your reflection on "better product" contains severe bias away from athletic ability, and is therefore useless.

some of these AFL fans are real drop kicks. the ones i have met in real life haven't been this stupid, a bit deluded maybe. they usually get mad when i prove RL is a better game but they're not as bad as these people...

Now thats the dumbest thing you have said - how do you prove one game is better than another? AFL you have to have stamina, endurance and good skills by hand and foot - RL you have to have brute power and explosive speed. They arn't comparable - it is subjective what individuals like so how can you prove to someone what they should like?

100m run is more exciting than marathon running.

that's why NFL is a great sport to watch, it just has too many ads for most non american people.

In your opinion, and we know how much THAT'S worth! No appreciation for the marathon runner. You just want a quick fix! Pffft!

who won the 100m and who won the marathon at the olympics? everyone knows USAIN BOLT! no one knows....some kenyan dude probably.

in before racist taunts, kenyans are genetically better long distance runners and have a statistically higher probaility of winning the marathon in the olympics.

In RL they only play for 49 min out of 80 min so what does this tell us about their athletic ability - AF however is a guarantee 20 mins of action every quarter - because as soon as the ball is dead time on is added - I wonder how many "explosive" runs we'd see if they HAD to play a full 80 mins instead of taking their 30 second breaks every min - not many because NO RL player has any where near that level of fitness!
