I imagine you were doing this when you realized that the NRL will grab the top 3 rating sports programs of 2013 and maybe top 4............. :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>

behind the AFL?
its funny how you bumsniffers keep insisting on including the State of origin series. its nothing but a novelty state vs state factor,
90% of people who watch the State of origin couldn't even name the players, or tell you about how the game works

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

we're gunna end up 5th
cos RL is kickin our butts .............whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Except Brownlow has a lot more history - is more prestigious and is an honour to be known as one! Who remembers who won one last year or 35 years ago - oh sorry it didn't exist before 1980.!

No, The Brownlow is a prestigous medal in honour of an Australian Football player.
The Dally M is an award named after an Australian Football player.

Brownlow is older, and more prestigious due to its history. Hardly reflective of the sport.
Dally M is still heaps important. Barba won last year, cronk this year. I remember benji marshall came 2nd in 2011, narrowly.
And no. why the hell would the dally m be named after an AFL player?? Named after Henry Herbert 'Dally' Messenger a league player.

That was my immediate reaction. Not enough interest for FTA.
I'm pretty sure the Brownlow got 200k on Fox as well.

Yes, played some Australian Football but mostly RU and became famous at rl.
His style of play is attributed to 3 RU rule changes from the one game,
most notably the knock on rule to prevent AFL style play.

Is that the same Dally M that lived in Melb and played Aussie Rules prior to moving to Sydney and playing league - gee two codes in Australia with their premier award being named after Australian Rules players!

meaning he automatically became an ausfudge participant
