Erm, no you didn't. How many cities were the nRL's 55k+ crowds in this year? 1. Melbourne for AFL support >
daylight
Sydney's support for nRL.

Reality check, Raider. It doesn't matter where the games are. This is about the crowd numbers. In NRL heartland, the crowds should be as high as the AFL crowds in Melbourne. But they aren't. Fact of life. Get used to it.

.
Rugby League .. which is what the NRL is..
do not assume the NRL is a different sport
it is not
it is Rugby League
will have 4 cities attracting crowds of over 55K in 2013 worldwide
that's 4
Sydney
London
Cardiff
Manchester
we have had capacity crowds in 3 Australian cities in 2013
Sydney
Brisbane
Canberra
& we will add Manchester to that list as the World Cup Final in November is already a 75,000 sellout
Victorian rules effort totals
ONE
just
ONE
in all of the above categories

We're not confined to one city. We have control of four states and a firm foothold in the rest. And an increasing presence outside of Australia.
And you can't handle it can you, Dave? World's tiniest sport? It has some of the biggest crowds in sport in the world.

Adelaide and Perth have drawn big crowds many times. Even the Swans have drawn a few in Sydney!
The ONLY reason Melbourne tops the list is because we have the MCG - the biggest capacity venue in the country and one of the biggest in the world.

Some of them yes. There are sports that would give their back teeth to have such crowds.
And the biggest in Sydney is 72,393 by the way, not 37,980. Adelaide's is 51,140 and Perth's is 43,527.
