That may have happened for about 5 seconds in a finals game when someone scored a try. Then again it probably didn't happen as you lie about everything.

You always hear people say it's better on the TV than at the game. Probably because at the game there's little to no atmosphere, and people don't want to waste their money seeing the shit in person. Boring sport, boring crowds, no atmosphere.

Yeah well AF didn't change their football to make it easier to play with like RL - we all know that RL players are the most unskillful - there's always knock on in a match - only one person kicks the ball and to top it off they only have to play for 49min out of 80!

Is it or is it not a fact,
RL changed their football from leather to plastic, larger and light, with a dimpled surface to make it easier to grip?

Did or did not Phil Rothfield analyis the game where the Tigers v Manly and find only 49 min of actual play out of 80 min?

Has there been ANY of RL where a side has not been penalised for a knock on?

C'mon have the guts to answer those simple questions? Or will you be true to form and remain a coward?

KE pretends to work both sides but when was the last positive post he has made? Well never! His perception is obviously tainted with his love for RL - I was the first to admit that the crowd for Storm v Sths was a good crowd for RL but average for a melb crowd - you won't get that from KE. The fact remains that we often hear from RD that the Raiders are number one in Canberra - yet their crowds have dropped along with 13 others and all the Sydney RL clubs - including last years runner up. So one can only ask is this drop a Sydney /NSW thing is other cities not dropping - is it a trend in sport is it a trend in the AFL/NRL due to the recent drug issues. But to point the finger at the Swans who remain the club with the highest attendance average, largest membership and the most sponsored as a sign that they are failing is misleading! Being without objective would lead to such analysis - KE does not and thats why he is a disgruntled RL supporter who wants to just kick AF!

No doubt their tv ratings are poor - never said otherwise - however as has been said many times before these ratings are an indication only! There is only 3000 rating boxes in Sydney - they don't say WHO is watching - interested bystanders, club supporters a TV left on with no one watching - they don't say WHERE the sets are located are they in predominate areas which are RL strong holds are they in RU strong holds etc - you have to take them as ONLY an indication if there were 50000 sets that would be a greater indication if there was one in EVERY household that would be close to accurate, but there is not! Other stronger indicators are crowd averages, membership and sponsorship - Swans lead in all three so a NRL club may have an average tv rating much greater than the swans overwhelming in fact but who, where and how is watching is not known - just like Penrith - but their crowds, membership and sponsorship are at the bottom - just like Penrith. You can't then turn around and say they are bigger as you can't answer those 3 questions because there isn't information to access the TV ratings! Now you answer my question is or is not Sydney the biggest club in Sydney and be honest!

Would be good to know what proportion of the pay tv ratings come from Sydney given the high uptake of pay tv in Sydney

2012 attendance: 45,827, 1st v 3rd
2013 attendance: 42,627, 3rd v 5th

seems a more likely reason for the slight decline in this particular match, especially given that Swans crowds are up this year overall...

Swans in top form, AND premiers in 2013. We can make excuses till the cows come home drac. There's no denying the fact that raider is right once again. The decline, the massive decline!

No decline, Eliagh. You can make statistics prove anything you like. The rest effect is coming from a little fledgling called GWS. It was bound to happen. It doesn't alter the proven fact that the Swans are still a bigger sporting clubs than ANY of the Sydney based NRL clubs! And where are the Swans fans on the tele? They're AT THE GAME!! Which is more than I can say for the NRL chumps!

You joining the Coward club - afraid to respond to my post - is that because you did your research and found out I was right? Surprised - no not totally RD = coward, Eels = Coward, Parra = Coward, now KE too = COWARD!

Jackyboy seems to be the ONLY RL fan on this site that isn't afraid to be a man and hear both arguments and admit when he's wrong!
