Considering the wealth of evidence detailing the awful characters associated with the AFL and marngrook which raiderdave has amassed on this board one simply cannot argue against the fact the AFL and marngrook seems to attract an inordinate number of disturbed and immoral individuals. The peadophiles, the rapists, racists and druggos have really brought the game into disrepute and we must thanks raiderdave for so sincerely and comprehensively documenting the disgusting disprortionate numbers of filthy individuals connecting themselves with this game.

The codes integrity is utterly shot. I mean whats the go with all shese shoddy types and the protection the AFL seems to give them?

And the fans of the code seem completely synonymous with the shoddyness. In fact, they seem to put the most shoddy of all their shoddy heroes on the highest of pedestals. They call gary ablett 'God'. Hird? He's 'Golden Boy'. Wayne Carey? Well, they call him 'King'.

RL has had shoddy characters as far back as Rex Mossop, Benny Ellis (I seem to remember there were rape allegations against him), more recently indecent assault - inappropriate photos with animals, abusing female reporters, assaults, drug allegations - salary cap breaches! Yes, Andrew johns has a checkered past but you don't see us referring to him as 'god'. No we just call him 'joey'. Wally Lewis, well he's our 'king' but one needn't worry about taking ur wife round his joint for dinner. We've had players who've dabbled in performance enhancing drugs but thankfully our fans aren't simpletons and haven't nicknamed drug cheats as golden boys.

Our most influential tv personalities would certainly has less reach than your Eddie but they certainly wouldn't have said what eddies said about Adam goodes and minority groups...and they most certainly would not remain employed if they did.
