Well rl players are the most skilful drac. No ifs or buts about it. The only code in the nation from which RU andtheAFL have recruited from yet never the other way round. Raiders right again I'm afraid. And please if you don't know that scoring a try in rl is a completely diff proposition than kicking a bit of leather through some posts then you need to leave this forum. There's a Eason AFL scores go well over 100 points often. It's relatively simple to kick dem goals. ;)

Comon drac, a bit of sense please.

Not deluded just an educated idiot. He can have his moments though and is good for a laugh. Incredibly insecure though poor fella. Just watch for when he makes demands or threats ... Like his words are real scary .... Or he tries to patronise you lol. He does have some good moments .

Don't know if I can agree with that - each sport has it's own skill set - but you are wrong KE didn't RL recruit Adrian Barich a West Coast Eagles players before GWS got Issy, didn't NSWRL regularly recruit union players before the sport went pro? Being able to kick is not common in NRL and passing the ball as opposed to having to kick or punch the ball by hand! We know you like RL KE but AF fans arn't going to agree with those comments!

Only reason they can recruit nrl players is that the AFL can pay lots more.

I've never heard of an AFL player moving to the nrl swines. Please tell. And don't gimme some chump who played 3 years marngrook growing up, I want an AFL player moving to the nrl, or equivalent. And in the past 25 years when professionalism took over please. RU? Perhaps the switch has occurred but itd be as rare as hens teeth and id bet when you see those slow unco oaths run on a rl field it'd be quite amusing. On the other hand when a rl player decides to convert to RU? It's red carpet all the way into the wallabies dressing room  in terms of skills one simply cannot compare ;)

NRLcrap1, wow... your username...its about as imaginative as a dog owner could be during the precious moments as they pick up their dogs massive sloppy dump with a little plastic. What a crap1!

Nrl couldn't afford it. If the roles were reversed financially and nrl could offer a lot better wages you may see a move. I could see buddy Franklin staring. Imagine Gary Ablett .....

No, skills and money aside, I think the key problem is AFL players and everyone else with a brain, just know they could not match the nrl folk as athletes. NRL players are simply supreme athletes compared to the AFL lads. Bigger, stronger, faster, more explosive and powerful. On an nrl field, Buddy would be crumpled. Ablett would be hospitalised, Jetta would be outsprinted and so on and so forth. That's why it wont ever happen.

Buddy franklin 6foot5 101kg weighs about the same as NRL wingers and fullbacks who are stronger and faster than him. Here's one

Image

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akuila_Uate

He's 4 inches shorter and only 5 kg lighter than buddy. But he'd be much stronger and, well, third in the underage australian sprint finals tells us he's faster and a shiiit load more powerful than buddy

And here's another Image http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Inglis
Same height, five kilos heavier. He would be twice as strong as buddy and would absolutely snap ol buddy in two on an NRL field. He'd also beat him in a foot race.

I dont think i even need to talk about gary ablett on an NRL field at 182 cm / 85 kg :_<>

Sorry swines but buddy may look like a supreme athlete **** AFL players, in RL he'd be seen as weak, thin, lanky and slow. He'd prob make your first or second division club side, though he'd be at risk of serious injury there too. :>::
