And Demetriou's had a great 7 years? That's questionable when we look at his 9 commandments...
We will ensure that we are the sport of choice for all young men in Australia, for all time

I still cant believe he wrote this rubbish down! Speaks volumes about the person running the AFL :[] :pig: :drunk: #-o

Demetriou must have been at Crown Casino with kevin sheedy having lines of coke in the bathrooms while they wrote this fantasy land stuff.

Xman that remains to be seen, if western sydney Giants fail and the AFL is still a distant 5 place in western sydney i would say he has wasted a qtr of a million dollars and has failed misserably.

They were parts of a mission statement idiot. They are supposed to be bold and ambitious. What was DGs mission statement? We shall let no more than 2 teams fold or merge in the coming years?

Xman a mission statement is a formal document. Can you point to where Demetrious comments were parts of a mission statement?

In any case "bold and ambitious" is one thing. But so much of what your leader has blurted in his 'pledges' is downright impossible. Fantasy land stuff developed after drinking booze and snorting lines with kev sheedy is really the most valid conclusion as to how dumbchook demetriou came up with several of these pledges. 7 Years later and I still find them a hoot! "WE WILL!"  I see your reflection in those bullshit pledges Xman, yours and TLPG's  :drunk:

The AFL think big. That's why they are the number one sport in the country with better crowds, ratings and money than nearly all others combined.

Ratings is a push. Cricket plus NRL would be in front. But NRL, a league, RU together would be behind AFL.

The AFL would easily win crowds and memberships, and probably revenue. :D

Point to where Demetrious pledges were part of the AFL's formal mission statement. This is where you seem to be defending his undefensible claims, so back it up cowboy

Xman you think join the Aleague, NRL and Rugby super 15 and AFL is still in front? Mate how stupid are you.......
If rugby union and League joined together as one game it would outstrip the AFL in crowds, money with those to alone.

Stop making pledges for Keven shoddy and Demetruio mate its getting to your head.

What?

The AFL get over double the crowds of RL!

The AFL earn around double the Revenue of RL!

For your comment to be true RU would have to draw at least the same crowds and earn the same revenue as RL! We both know that isn't true don't we!
