Dave, an AFL game isn't 3 hrs ... At best it would be 2 hrs. Just a heads up .
and an RL game doesn't go for 2 either
its 80 mins
Wow looks like you were wrong about both.

Zero credibility for you, minda.

ahhh

I wasn't wrong about bumbleball going for 50% longer though was I dickface

meaning this graph ...kindly supplied by Bearsy the bet welching bitch
proves RL players run farther distances during a game

thanks Bearsy

no, they cover a greater distance per time allowed, not run further idiot!

But so do 400m runners compared to marathon runners you dunce

Dr Gibbs has been involved in ARs and RL and was dead right. You only have to look at how K Hunt and Falou struggled with the running aspect of ARs, and neither played in the real running roles in their first seasons.

Here is some genuine research from the university of Qld based on GPS data

NRL: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21358424
Distances were 5 - 5.6 kms. Backs had the most sprints with an average of 18 per game, with 3.2 minutes between sprints. Total average sprinting time per game was 44.7 seconds.

AFL: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20364877
Distances were 11.8 - 12.3kms with an average of 98 sprints per game, with 90 seconds between sprints.
http://sport.fitsense.com.au/downloads/ ... t_2009.pdf shows AFL players sprint for an average 5min 25secs per game.

Holy crap, what a MASSIVE difference in running fitness required for each code!
