How can you predict a crowd & only half turn up esp to a blockbuster in its heartland. Terrible!

Now lets look at the the 3 blockbusters in the AFL in Melbourne.

Geel vs Carl - Sell Out 50,000
Rich vs Bulldogs Sell Out 50,000
Coll vs Haw Sell Out 85,000 - 90,000

I would be very worried if I followed Rugby League, but I dont thank God

all in Melbourne

its funny how its the only place on earth that a decent crowd for this silly little game ... turns up

cough .. ********* .. cough
I love that 35k+ crowds in Adelaide and Perth aren't considered 'decent' by Dave, but if the nRL gets one it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
i remember crowds rarely being below 40K in either place

cough decline cough

dave Dave Dave

They're a medium sized AFL club. They have far less members and crowds than many AFL clubs like Collingwood, Essendon, Richmond, Carlton, hawthorn, westcoast, crows...

Yet theyre bigger than all Sydney NRL clubs

NRLs blockbuster is nothing but a buster

Must be thousands of free tickets floating around tonight for South Sydney vs Melbourne at ANZ Stadium. Had one friend tell me today her mob have been given a stack of free tickets and just now KE of all people asked if I wanted to go as he and his mates have free tickets. Free tickets galore for an apparent NRL blockbuster where both teams remain undefeated. In any case, as if I'd be interested in going. KE doesn't sound keen on a trek out to ANZ Stadium either. For crying out loud, it's clear that so called RL supporters aren't interested in going hence all the free tickets floating around. Can't even give em away.

NRL Crowds Crisis indeed.

Only an NRL fan could take pride in such a trivial milestone!

Really? the swans average 24k, meaning they get crowds lower than this. Are you telling me NRL crowds in Sydney never get over 24k?

Who cares what you hear. The figures are there for all to see. The swans average 24k so really they shouldn't win every week. Surely NRL crowds in their own heartland arent that embarrassing

lol, 1 crowd in the rain against the Suns and Dave declared victory. Number 1 drawing team across all codes in Sydney for 18 years in a row. 2013 will be no different. How'd the Raiders do tonight against GWS Dave?
