23 k to the game is a good result as it was more than last year!
if the storm got 23k to a home game, oh hang on they never have, that's even after winning premierships and the world championship!![]()

Swans home games got 60k. Great effort by the giants members and swans supporters in a 1st v last game.Raiderdave wrote:& 40K under what a VFL game was attracting there just a few years backXman wrote:=D> =D>piesman2011 wrote:You missed the second game eels it was 22k. This game was 23,690.

midgets staff were also handing out freebies to the battle of the boggers at the easter show bearsy .... like confetti ... all week apparentlyBeaussie wrote:Whilst I'm disappointed more of my fellow Swans fans didn't show (pathetic how many I know who hate ANZ and refuse to go), we still saw a bigger crowd for the AFL in Sydney last night than the local derby in the NRL last night.
BTW, was talking to some mates last night at the game who said they also went to Bulldogs vs Souths after getting free tickets at the Easter Show on Good Friday. Apparently NRL staff were handing out thousands of free tickets all day at the show.

Yeah, a smaller number of swans supporters than normal were there because 1. It was an away game so their membership doesn't get them in, and 2. The match was last v first and expected to be a smashing like a first v last game almost always is.Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:Swans home games got 60k. What incentive was there for swans fans to pay general admission to watch an uncompetitive game?
All large crowds at ANZ have been swans home games v big Victorian club in games expected to be quality.
Yesterday's game definitely didnt fit any of those descriptions. What it did do was beat last years crowd =D>
