There would be regulations preventing them shoving a mic into the crowd as it would disturb people and ruin their view. Besides, a large mic like that doesn't need to be pointed at the crowd when it will pick up their "noise" anyway.

If Raiderdave thinks a crowd of 30k for a Giants home game is a big concern, I'd hate to see what he thinks of the Storm reigning premiers getting 11k to their grand final rematch.

It means preferential seating is for the giants and the expensive memberships the swans fans pay for wont get them in. Of course it affects the crowd size
