No headache for the AFL. They got what they were aiming for in the first 6 months after his signing, and now the giants can move on and get a real player.

The NRL were desperate for Falou but he gave them the finger in the most emphatic way.

But I cant see how Izzy is done in sport when he just signed a multi million dollar deal to play RU...

wrong They are bankrolled by the AFL for many years to come. They are forced to pay for these players because of the salary cap.

How do you think the Storm afford their stars? They are bankrolled by news ltd.

We get stars because they want to be in the sporting capital of Australia! Comparison doesn't work.

The Storm will never be able to survive without the help of News Ltd and/or the nRL. That's the way it's been since 1999 and it doesn't look like changing despite all those grand finals and premierships.

We've had more hold backs than that and you know what I'm talking about there! If anything was a problem internally it was News Limited owning the Storm AND running the NRL. That's not the case anymore.
