Stew, compare the codes in the two states where the majority of the Australian population lives and then try to gloat on club numbers!

Do a little research before jumping to insults. It makes you look as pathetic as Raiderdave.

Bigger ratings in Victoria, bigger crowds in Victoria, more club memberships in Victoria etc etc. NSW aren't as passionate about nRL as Victorians are about AFL. Fact.Raiderdave wrote:Stewie wrote:So NSW and Victoria? The AFL wins hands down in that battle.Striker wrote:Oh yeah right! Melbourne's AFL ratings murder Sydney's NRL ratings. Sydney's AFL ratings murder Melbourne's NRL ratings. The regional NSW ratings dont make up the difference when regional Vic is also included.Raiderdave wrote:Stewie wrote:So NSW and Victoria? NSW regional ratings for RL are DOUBLE regional Victorias for VFL
& Sydney's are almost on par with Melbournes
QLD takes care of the rest of the vicky kicky world all by itself
I mean , how else do you think we always win the ratings each year

The idiot doesn't seem to realise that a Friday night Vfl match in Tardia might get 700k, yet a Friday night NRL match will get 550k and another 500k from regionals.

Re: ARl/NRL - sponsors dropping like flies
Almost on par... that's with the Channel 7 figure even though Fox Footy is simulcasting the match. The amount of people in Melbourne last year (when 7 had the game exclusively) watching one of the rare live Friday night games on 7 almost doubled Sydney's nRL figure.
Victorian AFL ratings > NSW nRL ratings. End of.
Victorian AFL ratings > NSW nRL ratings. End of.

Those 500k regionals wouldn't all have been from NSWParraEelsNRL wrote:The idiot doesn't seem to realise that a Friday night Vfl match in Tardia might get 700k, yet a Friday night NRL match will get 550k and another 500k from regionals.
