Yes shocking lie there pies me boy. Your integrity is headin south but chin up, you'll always have more than the AFL.
I really cant see the crows, their players, entire coaching/training staff and entire fan base having to go through a season where every win means...nuttin. Yes they'll likely get a fine and a slap on the wrist for draft picka...all the while still having the opportunity to win the comp after cheating. Quite a farce and akin to a final year high school student, cheating in front of watching examiners, who wait until the year after results have been passed and the student is happily enrolled in their law degree before giving them an $80 fine and 4 hours community service.
Its worth running the gauntlet and cheating in the AFL

So I didnt check my facts on one little part of my post and i was out by 3 years. The rest of the post is valid. To loose 2 premierships is very bad and if Carlton had won the premiership in 1999 they probabaly would have had it stripped from them. What I dont like from the storm is that they are still the best overall team since they were punished.
You cant punish the crows until you know exactly what they have done. Lets find that out first.

Yeah, and delay the draft while that's done!!
Carlton wouldn't have been stripped of the premiership. The AFL don't have the guts to do that.

Lets stick to the facts pies. You were out by 3+ years, not three years

And it was really the defining point of your post. It had me believing your other points may actually be right..until we all realised that your figure was comparatively grossly out of proportion, thanks to RD.
Now you dont really know whether or not carlton would have had their title stripped and on the evidence we have, i.e. they didnt even get their points stripped of them as far as I know, it looks most likely they wouldnt have lost their title. And furthermore have you ever thought that the storm might still be great because 1) they have an awesome coach, and 2) they were able to keep the vast majority of their awesome team to abide by the salary cap during seasons after their disgrace...??? Seriously pies I urge you not to parrot Xman's arguments in future. He's a really dumb guy, completely void of integrity.

having to go through an entire season without points is ridiculous. May as well fold for a year and give the points to the other teams without playing.
What Carlton suffered is a far bigger punishment. They were stripped of 7 years success and suffered financially because of it too.
Pies is dead right despite the fact his claim was off by 3 years. Carlton did make the finals but have failed dismally each time.

Stripped of 7 years of success?

Yeah and like you can prove that

They more than likely would have had similar results for those years given the leniency of the AFLs punishment.

"more likely" hey?
FMD
The fact is they suffered with their worst era in their clubs history. Hows that for "more likely"?
