Hmm
That is just embarrassing for the AFLKing-Eliagh wrote:G'day folks.![]()
Well round 6 is all but over and out basketcase/tankster sides have all completed their games. This week we had the GC and western bulldogs playing ok...but losing against their opponents as per usual. We also had three complete blowouts as is expected with these basketcase/tankster sides with Brissie, Melb and GWS copping absolute thumpings!
So at the end of round six these uncompetitive teams are continuing in the manner KE has predicted with not one of the teams having yet scored a win against an opponent not listed by KE as a basketcase/tankster.
So the official scoreboard in this bet looks thusly
Brisbane --- 0
GWS --- 0
Western Bulldogs --- 0
Gold Coast --- 0
Melb --- annnnnd 0
:D
Yes folks proof that there's still 5 teams who just arent competitive in the AFL comp and really dont deserve to be there as they continue to produce complete dead rubber matches. Unfortunately the results in their games are obvious to all prior to the first bounce. And unfortunately for Xman, KE's prediction looks to be right on the money! :D
Nope. The most even premiership race in memory. =D>eelofwest wrote:That is just embarrassing for the AFLKing-Eliagh wrote:G'day folks.![]()

Rubbish. There were only three - and one of them involved the top two sides. The other two were Hawthorn over Melbourne and Collingwood over Brisbane.justanotherleaguefan wrote:Real close, Only 5 blow outs this weekend
Yep, there are some struggling teams, but remember, there are 18, not 16. But the race for the top 8 and even the flag is hotter than ever. Love it! :DKing-Eliagh wrote:Yes just as i predicted this week, the western bulldogs won. And the results now stand as:

Bris --- 0

Four clear basketcases/tanksters and one slight anomaly there. Perhaps it was a mistake for me to include the western bulldogs in this bet. Time will tell. One thing is clear as day though. The AFL competition this year is the most lopsided its ever been with four - 6 sides fronting as uncompetitive. The top half of the comp is fairly even. But all the same, the competition could quite easily be divided into 2 divisions.
So you prefer the NRL with only a few teams fighting for the spoon but a one horse race for 1st?justanotherleaguefan wrote:So is the race for the spoon
I have faith in the doggies. Their playing alright!King-Eliagh wrote:Howdy folks sorry for not updating the scorecard last week but, well, it was just another uneventful week on KE's Basketcase/Tanksters scorecard :D As were this week's round 9 clashes :D :D
Yes everything since my accurate quote which stated "there are between 4 and 6 basketcases/tanksters in the AFL comp", has been going exactly as I've said it would.
Annnnnnd after round 9 the scooooorecard reads
Basketcase/Tankster --- Score
GWS --- 0
GC --- 0
Bris --- 0
Melb --- 0
WB --- 1
Yep with little time left its looking like my word is much more trustworthy, truthful, accurate and correct than Xman's when it comes to the AFL competition this year.
