Please explain how the CEO of a sponsor is employed by the AFL!
Please explain how this is not also an issue for RU and A league!
Please explain how this is an issue for the AFL when one of their teams is prepared to make a stand and cancel the sponsorship and suffer the financial consequences. If anything they are seen to be making a great example to the community that behavior like this is unnacceptable in this day and age.
Please explain how these two issues warrant the term embroil!

Listen Pauline Hanson, its quite clear when you do. Melbourne Fc comes under the umbrella of the AFL, who are ultimately responsible for the appropriate conduct and actions of their member clubs.
The AFL has had a long history of being embroiled in racism. Thankfully some steps have been taken but this does not mean the org should be resting on its laurels as you seem to suggest pauline. There's much more work to be done and developing a policy which acts to assist AFL club employers to employ respectable employees rather than racist gits is a big step the org clearly needs to take with two particularly nasty characters being identified in recent weeks. Xman, you disappoint me

Since when is the staff member of a sponsor a member of the Melbourne football club or an employee of the AFL?
As I see it the NRL has had a similar history of issues which is hardly surprising given both codes are heavily influenced by Australian culture which has unfortunately involved racism.

The melbourne football club employed the sponsor and their staff.
I'm not doubting the fact the NRL has had its issues. Just pointing out the AFL is embroiled in it right now, as we speak Xman.

Gottit yet?

BS! The sponsor employs the club to promote their company! Not the other way around!

Either way the AFL club shouldnt have associated itself with this man in the first place. Policies need to be put in place to ensure the AFL is not constantly embroiled in racism. I think Raider found and linked about 50 odd occurrences of racism within the umbrella of the AFL competition just last year.

RU and A league did also. He was only shown to be racist after making comments. Do you want all potential sponsors to undergo lie detection?
Pease show us these 50 racist occurrences liar!
