Yes I think its a nice depiction of the Xman. Although I tend to think i've overestimated his functioning senses somewhat by suggesting he has a normal pair of eyes.
Please in future imagine him with testicles as his set of eyes.

Care to show us this promotion that was ongoing for 2 years for a game only announced last November? You're an idiot.

Oh get over yourself beaussie. The GWS giants have been promoted for years. This game has always been the pinnacle the momentous occasion talked about and pumped up for two years +. You were one of the many who fell hook line and sinker for this ridiculous uninformed, invalid and misleading promo/mythologising of the sport in RL heartland. You picked a sellout!
They shouldve played at the scg and if folk down at AFL HQ had've listened to Raiderdave months ago they would've chosen the SCG and made a better night of it.
Lost opportunity because of imbociles like Xman down at AFLHQ thinking their game is invincible and a shoe in in sydneys RL dominated west. Hilarious how andy D has only recently taken the more humble approach saying west sydney will be a difficult market.

1 AFL team averages nearly 3 times your codes attendance, in your heartland. I'd be worried about that stat first off.
That average has a number of visiting fans because of the teams that were selected to play there. Sydney's average is pretty clear. The Giants game was their home game so many Sydney members would not have turned up. That is a worry for the NRL because at least 1/3 rd of the 38k were new giants fans. =D> =D>
Incidentally, the Swans membership number is almost 25k now and will pass last years figure shortly. Therefore these new giants members are new additions to the AFL. Instant growth right there! =D> =D>

we have 9 sides in Sydney wombat
the average attendance at an NRL game in Sydney is 16,000
X 9 thats 144,000
the VFL average in Sydney in 2012 will be lucky to be more then the NRL's by seasons end
but with more then 4 times less teams
the gooses would be lucky to have 15,000 NSW based members
less then Newcastle
less then Souths
less then the Dragons
4th place
well done
VFL in NSW... goooonnnneeeeeee

Hmmm, souths, nope, how many ticketted members again?
The swans have more Sydney members than almost all the NRL teams have ANY members. The swans average more attendance than any Sydney NRL team. =D>
Meanwhile the storm have less members than every Melbourne AFL team by a massive margin. The storm average less attendance than ANY Melbourne AFL team by a massive margin.
The swans membership this year is on track to beat last years number. The Giants in their first year will close in on 10k. So that's a significant increase of people watching, attending and becoming members of the AFL in Sydney.
Meanwhile the NRL crowds are 5% down on last year and 10% down on 5 years ago.

Most of the NRLs FTA TV games haven't made the top 20 list of TV programs each day either.
The AFL is expanding into new markets. The NRL is retracting in its own market.

Souths have around 21K members
& around 15K ticketed
the gooses have 25K
about 15K ticketed in Sydney & Melb ...at least 10K would be non ticketed
Souths have more NSW based members
& more ticketed members in NSW as well
gooses
numb 4

These guys love to soak up the propaganda don't they lol
AFL swans average crowd for 2011 = 31k
Season opener stand alone round, 33k swans fans at least.
+ giveaways lets say 1k tickets given away to promote the game in western Sydney, 2 years of promotion on tele in nsw.
so that leaves the GWS Giants with 4k attendance at the game for a total of 38k.
Now if you cant use your own IQ to figure out that it was a utter failure then i feel sorry for you AFL dopes.

The Swans are on track for 27K members again. With 10k ticketted from Melbourne (yes they have a number of games there) leaves 17K from Sydney. I win. :D

Is it a full moon today or something??????
The Swans average last year was 26.6k, not 31k
The game mentioned was a Giants home game. Therefore Swans members dont get entry unless they pay. This was a great crowd considering, and 3 times the Syd v Syd NRL game the night before in Sydney's west.
And this is NRL heartland!!!!

Lets also not forget that there's loads of swans members who have joined up as members of GWS to support the game in Sydney. Our very own Beaussie is just one of these folk.
