The Giants haven't even played a game yet you mental midget! Plus they're the second AFL team in that city, not the first like the Storm. LMFAO!
AFL members in Sydney are almost 30. NRL in Melbourne almost 9!

Interestingly, last night the Sths v bunnies game only got 18k, yet the Sths are claiming 20k members!

we have 7 more clubs in Sydney ..
proof will also be in the attendance
when the only TWO VFL sides in Sydney .. can't get many more then 30K

Grass roots ARs in Sydney has grown and grown after fantastic support from the AFL. These players will follow the teams in Sydney. More players will come due to the increase in exposure, and they will follow the new teams as well. It might take 20 years but the giants will end up just that, a giant!
The NRL are decades behind in grass roots development in AFL states! Hence the Storm haven't grown appreciably in 14 years of success. Hence the NRLs live GF replay recorded almost zero ratings in SA and WA.
